Visa Application Assistance

We will help you understand the visa application process, give you up to date instructions, help you gather the necessary documents and submit your application.

Matchmaking

Once your visa application is ready, we will match you with a Canadian family to host you for 90 days. They will be warm, welcoming and we will do a criminal background check to ensure everyone is happy and safe.

Bring You To Your
New Home

With approved Visa in hand, we will book and pay for your flights from your location to Canada, where your new housemates will welcome you with open arms.

DONATIONS

You can donate money to directly help the purchase of airfare for Ukrainians coming to Canada. Current ways to donate;

- Canadian e-transfer to donations@uadsc.org

- Cheque made out to 'Ukrainian Diaspora Support Canada' and send it to 193 Morris street, Carleton Place Ontario, K7C 4M8, Canada.

- Wire transfers - please email donations@uadsc.org for instructions.

Please be advised we cannot issue tax receipts at this time as we are in the process of registering as a charity. This is a government process that can take upwards of a year. Furthermore, these tax receipts would only be valid on Canadian income.

ABOUT

Our first goal was to help one family flee the warzone in Ukraine. This family was our very own. After calling to the community for help, we were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support. We rolled that support into an initiative that is working to bring as many fleeing Ukrainians to our beautiful country as possible. From answering questions about life in Canada to finding them a family doctor while they are here, we are working to make their application, travel, arrival AND stay as smooth, loving and safe as possible.
